How to create Photo Albums & Galleries
Anonymous users (non-registered) may upload photos in the "Guest" photo album. Registered Users are invited to share their photos with others in this sporting community by creating their own photo albums and galleries. Uploading photos is quite easy. The hardest part is getting the pictures in a digital form so that they may be uploaded to this website. If you have done that and you know how to browse to them to find their location in a folder, then you can have them online in just a couple of minutes. Here's how.
1. Click on the Photo Gallery link under Community in the main menu just to the left.
This will reload the page and after the page reload you will see a Photo Gallery Tasks box above the main menu. From this Task box (see #2 below) you may control all functions of your photo management.
2. Click on the Create / Order My Albums to create your own Photo Album.
Give your photo album a name and a description.
3. After the album is created you may click on Upload picture and then upload the photos. When you click on "Upload picture" you will have a drop-down box that will give you the option of using the "Guest" album or your new album. We urge you to place your photos in your individual album. This is why you created it
-Browse to the picture on your computer to select it.
-Give your picture a title and description, if you wish.
-Then click on the "Upload picture" button on the bottom of the page.
Depending on the speed of your internet connection, and the size of the picture, it will take anywhere between a few seconds and a minute to upload the picture. If you have a high quality picture and you are using a dial-up connection, it may take longer than a minute.
For the technically minded (Geeks): All pictures must be smaller than 2mb in size. Actually 1mb is very big. I have configured the program to accept a 2mb file as some new digital cameras make individual pictures close to this size. If you do have a picture bigger than this, you will have to resize the picture, and possibly change its file extension format to a type that compresses the file more. See this for more assistance.
As with anything regarding this website, if you have any questions, please ask.
