WNC Sportsmans Club Wildlife Weekend and Gun Show!
The Western North Carolina Sportsmans Club is going to host a Wildlife Exhibition and Gun Show, June 13 - 15, 2008. At the Haywood County Fairgrounds, in Clyde, NC, located in Haywood County. This event will be a broad based event that will include: The local Chapters of The Wild Turkey Federation, The Rough Grouse Society, The Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, as well as local Wildlife Clubs. There will be Outfitters from across the South, makers of Custom Big Game Calls, and vendors for other sporting related items.

Announcement: NCWRC Schedules Annual Public Hearings

RALEIGH, N.C. (Dec. 13, 2006) - The N.C. Wildlife Resources Commission will conduct its annual series of public hearings across the state in January, asking for public comments on 73 proposed changes to hunting, fishing and trapping regulations.
After hearing public comments, the 19 members of the state Wildlife Resources Commission will meet in March and vote on whether or not to adopt the revised rules.
