Are you kidding you may ask? Not on your life. At one time a specific species of salmon (kokanee) was stocked at Nantahala Lake in Macon County during the mid 1960's. This county is located in western North Carolina. A new state record has been established.

The North Carolina Sportsman magazine did an article about it. It makes for very interesting reading. Congratulations to Tony Robinson for a new state fishing record Exclamation
