Re: Should the use of dogs in the taking of deer be totally
by Anonymous on Thursday, December 22, 2005 (07:58:11)
I totally agree with your comments, they always say dogs can't read but the owners can,and they should be held responsible for their actions.nc wildlife and whoever pass the wildlife laws in nc should stop ignoring the problem and put a end to it.too much money is spent by stillhunters every year in nc to have doghunters running up and down the roads trying to get ahead of dogs and deer this is a dangerous practice .make them go in the woods and hunt that deer, instead of letting the dog do the work for them,it makes no sense to me at all that they can turn their dogs loose on public land and run it to death then save their private land if they even have any to run later.if you won/t stop it at lease make them have so much land before they can run their dogs,I realize some land in swamps might be hard to hunt, but isn't finding that deer and hunting it what it's all about, give the true hunters a chance to kill deer,go in the woods and hunt them ,hopefully enough still hunters will comment on this and get something done!!!!!!!!!!!make yourself heard ban together and make it better for everyone.
